1. Choose the register spreadsheet
Use the supplier's .xlsx device register, up to 2 MB. HQ checks the full MAC address and the matching Matter fields. Choosing a file does not import it.

What HQ checks
The register needs columns named esp_mac, discriminator, passcode, qr_code and manual_code. Exactly one sheet must contain those columns. HQ checks for invalid rows, duplicate MAC addresses and conflicts with the stored register. Existing matching identities are kept unchanged.
Setup codes stay out of this preview. File contents are sent to HQ's register service for validation and are not sent to AI.

Rows to resolve before importing
Resolve the source or register issue through the controlled process, then check the approved file again. The whole import is held when a row is invalid or conflicts.
