Every stock change is an append-only movement on the audit trail (ISO 9001 clause 8.3 traceability). A movement is never deleted; a correction is a new, offsetting adjustment.

Track a supplier order
+ Create PO opens a tracked supplier order for the ticked lines: who it was ordered from, what was ordered, and the dates you are waiting on. It is a status tracker (Draft, Ordered, In transit, Received), not a purchasing system - no line items, no approvals, no money. An order only becomes Received by linking the goods receipt the warehouse booked, never by a status change.

Posting a stocktake writes one adjustment movement per varying line (server-side gate) and stamps the count author + timestamp. A variance over the threshold is flagged for sign-off before it posts.
Product costing
Cost of bill (materials), shelf cost (materials + labour) and the cost-to-price ratio, computed against the current RRP. At or under 0.25 is healthy (50% off still clears 50% margin); indicative uses the latest actual buying costs, the stamped figures move only via the roll-up. Named product-cost viewers only - enforced server-side.
